What does LOL mean, anyway:

On iVillage’s message boards, you’ll see a lot of abbreviations.  Some of the most common are:

• LOL – laughing out loud
• DH – darling, dear husband
• DS – darling, dear son
• DD – darling, dear daughter
• ROFL – rolling on the floor laughing
• LMBO – laughing my butt off
• OMG – oh my gosh
• BTW – by the way
• KWIM – know what I mean?
• GMTA – great minds think alike

You may see some others.  If you wonder what they mean, just ask!

Folders:

Our message boards have folders.  These folders are like message boards within the message board.  You will see that there are three folders on our board.  They are:

• General Discussions – this is where you can post any general skin care or anti-aging question and please introduce yourself as well.
• Skin Care Questions & Advice – This folder is where we post specific questions on skincare & anti-aging and ask for advice.  Also, this is a great folder to pass along any skin care tips you might have too!
• News & Issues – This folder lists news from around Substance & iVillage.  Take a moment and read the newsletters as you will see some very interesting links to other places at iVillage.
